On November 8 - 18, 2021, FSC joined as an Observer the virtual 44^rd meeting organized by FAO/WHO Codex Alimentarius. The Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) is the body responsible for all matters regarding the implementation of the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Programme. Themes covered by Codex include COVID-19, animal feed, antimicrobial resistance, biotechnology, contaminants, nutrition and labelling, pesticides, and other issues relevant to global food standards.
