China International Food Safety & Quality (CIFSQ) Conference + Expo 2021

PolyU’s Food Safety Consortium [FSC] and Research Institute for Future Food [RiFood] joined force to promote PolyU’s food safety related capabilities and explore collaboration opportunities through exhibition and attendance at the CIFSQ 2021, one of the most representative food safety events held every year in China. With a focus on professional education and networking, the CIFSQ brought global experts together to address critical issues and identify recent advances in science, management, legislation, safety standards, innovative technologies that could make a difference towards enhancing food safety.


Dr. Terence Lau, Convener of FSC was invited to co-chair the plenary panel discussion with the topic of “Manufacturer’s Horizon Scanning of Future Food & Food Safety Trends” on day 1 and the breakout session of “Safety Evaluation of Substances Used for Both Food & Drug (TCM) in China”on day 2.
