DISH Joins Satellite Lecture Held by TrustEat Summer School 2021

On 3 September of 2021, DISH Global Centre for Food Safety and Quality (DISH) participated in a satellite lecture organized by TrustEat to share their expert views on the importance of novel technologies for the food chain.  TrustEat is a Horizon 2020 project which aims at building a trusty future food system by using blockchain technology, led by the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), Wageningen University & Research, and IBM. Prof. Terence Lau, the convener of FSC & member of DISH Board and Dr. Bernard Chang, Project Manager of Food Safety Consortium shared with researchers and industry professionals on the “Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Food Safety: Challenges and Opportunities”. Other DISH speakers included Prof. Henning Høgh Jensen, Head of Division, National Food Institute of Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Prof. Håkan Jönsson, Associate Professor, Department of Food Technology and Engineering and Nutrition of Lund University (LU), and Prof. Tullia Gallina Toschi, Full Professor, Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences of University of Bologna (UNIBO).
